Our History
Harlan Homes was begun in 1985 as a partnership between my mother, Nancy Laberteaux, and myself, James Harlan. Nancy took firm control of the marketing and interior and exterior décor. I managed the company as well as controlled the quality of subs and materials. We sold our first home in June of 1986. In 1994, my mother retired, and I became sole owner. I build from three to five homes a year. Homes prices range from $190,000.00 to $650,000.00. I participate in the construction of my homes to ensure the highest quality home. Our Guarantee
All warranties are passed to owner. Two-year structural guarantee on the home; normal cement cracks excluded. One year on all else. Lawn washouts or other acts of God are excluded from this guarantee. We WILL come back one year after you settle on your home and perform repairs from the house settling and the wood drying out.

References
We will produce a reference sheet upon your request of ALL homes built within the last three years.

Construction Time
For most homes the amount of construction time ranges from 4 to 5 months; however, our contract asks for 6 calendar months. For homes larger than 3,200 square feet, we ask for 9 months. The time begins when permits are issued and your bank gives permission.
